Student Video Contest Awards Ceremony
Join us as we celebrate the students, teachers and manufacturers who participated in this year's competition. Manufacturers, school administrators, along with students and their families are invited to attend! Desserts will be served.
What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?
The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? student video contest helps generate awareness of what an advanced manufacturing career may look like to our younger, tech-savvy generation and helps dispel the outdated image of the industry. Middle school students are paired with a local manufacturer to create a two-minute video using a GoPro camera kit, under the guidance of their teachers, to capture “What’s So Cool” about careers in manufacturing. The videos are reviewed by a panel of judges for awards in several categories. The on-line voting for the Viewers’ Choice award will take place on February 12, 13 and 14, 2020, and is open to the public for all to participate.
